Oprah's Big Car Giveaway
Oprah gives away 276 new Pontiacs

The billionaire talk show host told the audience that everybody will get a new Pontiac G-6 midsize 2005 sports sedan. Winfrey screamed and jumped up and down on the stage, shouting: "Everybody gets a car! Everybody gets a car!"
I think she may have improved their mobility in more ways than one.
Perhaps Oprah deserves an American Dream Hero Award!

It was a nice thing for Oprah to do but it would have been better if the money was spent in finding out why these people could not afford an automobile. A new car will be much more costly than taking public transportation because they now have to pay for insurance, parking, gas, tolls, tickets and repairs.
I think the money should have been spent on a financial analyst who can set up a budget and savings plan for these individuals so they will have the money to buy the things they want including a new motor car.

Pontiac Gave the cars away for some publicity. Lets try for some homes for the homeless. There is all sorts of possibilities.
I think what she did was none less than wonderful! But what i really need to know is where I write to find out information on how to publish about 30 childrens books my mother has written. She has had them for so long and I would love to surprise her. Please HELP!!!
